Hopped heavily with Nelson Sauvin and a bit of Motueka in a supporting role. We used flaked rye instead of oats, which is actually known for giving an even bigger mouthfeel than oats.

Cloudy, gold color. Moderate head which leaves thicker streaks in a webby way.
The smell is refreshing and clean without any dominant elements. There's soft malt and neutral hop.
This is an innocuous beer with a plan to the bittering hop after the swallow. Smooth but neutral body. Pale malt beginning. The hop comes forward after the swallow. The aftertaste has a stronger bite than the rest of the tasting, leaving a long, bitter presence.
