Fruit Medley is a new 7% double dry hopped IPA. This IPA explores the new fermentation profile that we used with Fresh Greens a few weeks ago. This new fermentation process allows us to squeeze even more juiciness and less bitterness out of the yeast and hops than our normal fermentation procedure. We hopped this beer intensely two times with Motueka and Cashmere.

Reviewed one week after can release. Poured into a Magnify stemless glass. It pours an opaque, muddy-gold color with more than a finger of fluffy, bright white head and significant soapy lacing. The smell is rather subdued and features tart lemon and grapefruit with whiffs of tangerine, pineapple, and melon. The hop aroma is subtle. The taste justifies its name. Up front there is lemon, lime, and tropical notes from the Motueka hops. At mid-sip I'm tasting melon and a hint of coconut from the Cashmere hops. There is very little bitterness although at the finish I'm noticing a bit of pepper. It's very refreshing. The feel is plush and rather crisp with a pleasant level of carbonation, and it's highly drinkable at 7% ABV. Overall, this is one of the lighter IPAs that Magnify has brewed recently. It's fruity and tropical. I'm a bit surprised it was brewed in November rather than in the heat of the summer. I hope Magnify brews it again in warmer weather.
