We liked the first version (with guava) so much we decided to brew this beer again and condition it on different fruit. This version is hopped with Citra and Mosaic and conditioned on cherry and apricot purée. No vanilla, no lactose. Just a pure juice bomb of hops and fruit with a manageable ABV.

14 oz. pour on draught at the brewery. Reviewed less than a week after release. It pours a very pretty plum-magenta color with a foamy, bright white cap and a thin coating of lacing. When held to the sun it looks almost neon. It smells of tart apricot and slightly sour cherry with notes of lemon peel. There's not much hop presence in the nose. The taste opens with tart, slightly bitter apricot and sour cherry, along with grapefruit rind from the Citra. There's also a berry taste that I attribute to the Mosaic hops. It's quite tangy. There is pepper and a slight astringency at the finish which may mellow given time. The feel is lite and crisp with a pleasant level of carbonation, and it's very easy to drink at 7% ABV. Overall, this is a nice change of pace beer: IPA meets sour. And it appeals to all of senses (except maybe hearing). Magnify should brew this during the summer months. I'd relish it after mowing the lawn on a hot, humid day.
