Summer Storms is a new 8% DDH Imperial IPA. Brewed with those quick, monsoon-like storms in mind. Double dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Azacca and touch of Chinook.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy goldenstraw with a bubble show that levels out with two fingers of whipped foam; excellent retention with webs of lacing
Smell: A whiff of the southern hemisphere, with a Sauvignon Blanc mingling with tropical tones of papaya, kiwi, lemon and pineapple
Taste: The vinous Sauvignon Blanc flavors emerge immediately and dominate, from start to finish, with the tropical elements underneath; a hint of sugar cookie joins with the papaya, kiwi and pineapple, as well as some melon tones; moderate lemony bitterness arrives, after the swallow and drives home the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: The second I opened the can it screamed out southern hemisphere hops - perhaps the best example I have had of this type of NEIPA
Thanks, The_Kriek_Friek, for the opportunity

9/1/19...clouded and hazy yellow. Patches darker and minor foam wisps on top. Fresh citrus nose. Floral. Sharp lemon fuel bite to open. Wallops you. Body fades fast and an oily hop bitter burn remains. Swift kick in the groin ensues.
