Tall can without canning date or some other freshness indication.

Pours out with a nice looking fully hazed presentation, lasting and rocky cap, whispy off white froth leaves copious fine sheeting and lacing...quality look to this one.

Earthy, minty, fruity sniff.

On the palate its more of the sniff...ripe pineapple, mango, lime, kiwi...delicious, heady, quality all the way....fine creation in brewing...go get some

Got this in a can from the brewery.
A: pours opaque, yellow body with small white head with nice retention and lacing.
S: sweet, citrus smelling beer; pretty earthy, too.
T: sweet, earthy grapefruit citrus taste with some subtle lemongrass malt notes
M: medium bodied and smooth; refreshing
O: nice mouthfeel and taste combination; pretty decent beer.

I had this on draught at the brewery on New Year's Eve, It pours a totally opaque, pastel tangerine color with a foamy, bright white head and a thin coating of soapy lacing. The fruity, pleasing aroma features lemon, grapefruit, orange peel, a whiff of vanilla, and floral hops. Its taste opens with a contrast of sweet tangerine and passion fruit, courtesy of the Amarillo and Galaxy hops, and quite bitter grapefruit rind. At mid-palate there is considerable oaty sweetness. It finishes with a blast of dank, bitter, biting Apollo hops and a fair degree of astringency. This ale is soft and pillowy with above-average carbonation, and the 8.3% ABV gives it good substance. Overall, this ale balances sweet and bitterness, and is satisfying. I think it will mellow out in a week or two and I may review it again.
