L- 1/2 fluffy white head.....orange juice color......cloudy with minimal light showing through on the sides of the glass.....lacing is medium

S-Candied fruit....jolly rancher.....lemon/lime.....orange....some biscuits grain

T-follows the nose.....lemon/lime.....some grain.....orange rind.....grapefruit....finish is slightly bitter

F-slick....less than medium......slight tang from the carb.......

O- not a huge Haze, juice bomb but still enjoyable

Reviewed one day after can release. Poured into a Magnify tulip glass. It pours an opaque, dirty tangerine color with a frothy, bright white cap and thin sheen of lacing. The smell is an aromatic blend of lemon, lime, tangerine, onion, herbs, and lite floral hops. The taste positively bursts with citrus: lemon and lime, orange, grapefruit, and honeydew. The flavors and zesty and the Cashmere hops contribute a smooth bitterness. The taste really pops. There is just a hint of astringency at the finish. The mouth feel features medium carbonation and while the 8.5% ABV adds a nice pop, this ale drinks very easily. I drained the glass before I knew it. Overall, Self Care is a classic Magnify DIPA with big, bold flavor and a pleasing mouthfeel. It actually seems lite compared to the TIPAs that Magnify regularly releases. This is a terrific beer!
