Pours a cloudy, almost completely opaque, matte yellow color. Thin white head dissipates pretty quickly leaving just spotty blobs of foam along the top of the beer.
Aroma has notes of mango, pineapple, and some light green hop notes. Somewhat subdued for a DIPA.
Taste follows the nose with nice sweet notes of mango, pineapple, grapefruit and some light peach notes. A light vanilla like sweetness is present. Green hoppy notes on the back end provide a moderate bitterness on the finish. Light white bread or cracker malt background is present.
Feel is medium bodied with some heft to it as is usual in the NE style IPA. Spritzy carbonation.
Overall a really nice DIPA - fruity but not overly sweet.

Reviewed the day after can release. Poured into a Magnify tulip glass. It pours a cloudy, dirty golden-tangerine color with a large, fluffy, bright white head and thick sheen of creamy lacing. It's a very attractive pour. The smell features citrus, specifically lemon and lime. There is also a discernible scent of vanilla cream. The taste opens with lemon, lime, and hints of tangerine, mint, pine needles, and white wine grape balanced by a creamy vanilla. The Citra, Motueka, and Sabro hops really shine in the taste; it's an excellent hop bill. There is moderate bitterness throughout. This ale is lite and crisp with a pleasant level of carbonation and it drinks easily at 8% ABV. It's very refreshing and a pleasure to drink.
