Reviewed two days after can release. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours a dense, golden-orange-apricot color with a very thick, fluffy, bright white cap and thick, soapy lacing. It smells of vanilla cream, tangerine, honeydew melon, lemon peel, grapefruit, pine, earthy notes, and floral hops. The first taste is creamy lactose and tart citrus, along with pine needles, but it quickly turns decidedly resinous and bitter due, I suppose, to the El Dorado and Simcoe Cryo hops. As the glass warms a bit the flavors mesh better. I'm impressed by the bitterness at the finish. In fact, it's more bitter than most of Magnify's recent TIPAs. This ale is quite viscous and creamy, moderately carbonated, and easy to drink considering its 10% ABV. It will be interesting to see how a week or two in the can affects this brew.
