This was the fifth iteration of All Together and it was from the brewery closest to where I call home. Magnify ran out of this the day I walked down there to get it but thankfully, I was able to trade for a can of this. It wasn't the best of the bunch but it was solid and true to it's intended form as it wasn't quite like what I was accustomed to from these guys. Nicely crafted, balanced, and easy to drink, this was closer to an old-school IPA than anything else that I've ever had from them!
This had a nice, golden hue to it that was waxy although this beer wasn't that thick. A small and steady head topped it off while the lacing left behind was in the form of a few thin and splotchy rings near the top of my pint glass. Lots of oats, citrus rind, and forest in the nose as the taste was just as turbid and heavy while still being appealing. Very earthy from the Cascade with a bit of a metallic twinge in the mix as the mouthfeel was nicely slick from the Citra. A bit of minty cleanliness emerged in the aftertaste as this finished as crisp and smooth as could be with the carbonation being presently soft from start to finish.
Like all of this others, this had booze but it was hard to feel as there was a slight hint of both white chocolate and weed that made this feel stronger than it actually turned out to be. Even without a date on the bottom of the can, this was as fresh as could be and felt like a West Coast beer with a full and balanced body, with the end result being more like an American Pale Ale than anything else. This was like Greenpoint's take in that it held true to the recipe while making it memorable and distinct at the same time. I only wish that Magnify would give something like this a bit more of a go rather than crank out another hazy New England IPA!

L-Golden......slight Haze.......minimal head...thick lacing
S-Sweet, candied malts sugars, bitter citrus rind, pine
T- Follows the nose, sweetness from the malts, greatfruit, citrus rinds, floral notes, finish has a piney bitterness
F-slick, oily, medium carb, nice balance of sweet and bitter
O- more of a west coast type IPA than the usual hazy juice bomb......nice change of pace
