This German style Pilsner is brewed with a large addition of Willammette, Wakatu, Crystal and Huell Melon hops in the whirlpool and lagered in second use red wine barrels for 9 weeks. Clean, crisp and slight notes of American oak and vanilla.

Poirs a medium golden color, fairly clear. Aroma is sweet malts, a dash of honey. Has a great, unique flavor. Malty and sweet, I can taste the barrel flavor is the background. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall a fantastic beer, thus is my last one, and I notice the hops are starting to impart a bitter finish.
