Interesting.....can to snifter, no canning date, though I now see that this must be over a year old. My assumption was that it was Magnify's 5th anniversary this year when in fact it is their 6th, so this is last years anniversary brew that I just picked up a 4pack of at the beer store. More impressive is the fact that this is still in very good shape.
LOOK: pulpy looking light yellow color, 80% haze, small off white head, very good retention.
AROMA: grass, and citrus.
TASTE: lemondrop, pineapple, palm sugar, rum......minty finish which actually kind of works despite sounding like it doesn't belong.
FEEL: medium to full body. Very respectable carbonation considering the age and style and body.
Impressed.
&&& EDIT: turns out Magnify re-released V for Anniversary VI, so this was more like 4-5 weeks old and not 56-57 weeks.

Reviewed on release day - one day after canning. Poured into a Magnify tulip glass. It pours a totally opaque, pastel tangerine-orange. The small, creamy, milk-white head dissipated rapidly leaving a thin sheen of lacing. It's strong, fruity aroma includes lemon, lime, grapefruit rind, and lite floral hops. The Nelson hops are front and center, providing an initial dry white wine flavor that compliments the lemon, lime, and pineapple notes from the Galaxy, Citra, and Wai-ite hops. There is also a subtle minty cream taste courtesy of the Sabro hops. It's moderately bitter, particularly at the finish, but not in a biting way. In fact, the overall taste is flavorful but delicate. This ale is plush and creamy with a pleasant carbonation level, and the 10% ABV is well-hidden. Overall, V is adventuresome with lots of complimenting flavors and a terrific, creamy mouth feel. Magnify has perfected its Imperial IPA game and this is a worthy 5th Anniversary release.
