A: Pours a very hazy bright pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + straw yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall fluffy sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thin film covering approximately 75% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Slightly heavier than moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/passionfruit + tropical/mango hops as well as pine hops over the top of light aromas of biscuit + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light flavors of biscuit + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit + tropical/passionfruit + tropical/mango hops as well as pine hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which lingers for a short amount of time and fades away leaving lingering moderate citrus hop flavors.
M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of softness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish. Slightly thin.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly refreshing mouthfeel albeit a touch thin. Really enjoyable hop profile with tons of Citra with a lighter amount of Mosaic.

Just like Stockton to Malone (both in real life and NBA Jam) Heating Up is one sweet hook up.
Heating Up pours a hazy yellow that leads you into the upcoming sweet and fruity smell and taste. It kept a thick white head that leaves great lace on the glass as you tip it back.
This DDH IPA has a fruit-forward scent with low-lying hops behind the fruit.
The taste surely mimics the smell that you get with Heating UP. It is mostly fruity with a refreshing bite after you sip. You do get the hoppy flavor but it does not overwhelm the fruit.
I do prefer a slightly heftier bite from my IPAs. But after reading more into DDH IPAs - it sounds like the process of adding your hops post-boil means a less bitter beer. This leads to the great smells of your hops but not an aggressive hoppy feel. So I can't fault the beer too much for having a lighter bite as that is what Magnify is going for here.
Much like the NBA Jam namesake, after 2 of these beers your taste buds are surely Heating Up. And the light, sweet taste and feel lets you go back to the fridge for your 3rd. But be careful. After that 3rd glass you'll surely be ON FIREEEEEEE!

A: pours a very hazy, straw yellow body with golden hied with a thick white head with excellent retention and lacing.
S: sweet, floral citrus notes
T: earthy, citrus taste with some sweet, lemongrass notes; warm alcohol in the back of the palette.
M: a little thin, but still pretty smooth.
O: pretty well balanced beer overall; hops are evident but not crazy strong on the palette.
