DDH West Coast Style Imperial IPA. A bigger version of DDH Babysitter, this Imperial IPA is hopped with Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial.

On draught at the brewery. 14 oz. pour. It's a slightly hazy (for WCIPA), dirty golden color with a large, foamy, bright white head and lacing. A subdued nose; mostly bitter citrus and a hint of malt. The taste is sharp, bitter grapefruit rind and lemon peel. with resinous pine. The crackery malt becomes evident as it warms. It finishes clean and decidedly bitter. The hop bill of Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, and Amarillo is classic West Coast. Its mouth feel is crisp and surprisingly lite for 8% with pleasant carbonation. Overall, Adult in the Room is a very good rendition of the West Coast IPA style. While Magnify is better known for its hazies, they did a great job with this beer.

8/7/20....pours pale gold cloudy colored with justa touch of white foam on top. Strong citrus nose that fades. Clean resiny bitter open. Chewy. Oily, grassy residue with hints of pine. Light bodied with a flavor and bitter wallop. Classic IPA.
