Poured a grapefruit hazy orange into a Samuel Smith Imperial pint glass with a 1 finger white head that lasted 5+ minutes and left a fair amount of lacing. Aroma is citrusy with hints of pine, grapefruit, tangerine & melon. Citra hop forward with medium body and a clean bitter finish. As it warms the mouth take on rounder tones. Another fine brew from Magnify and good example of the style, which I'm partial to. @ 10.5% ABV it adds a kick that can't be denied.

 

14 oz. pour on draught at the brewery. It pours a murky, deep tangerine color with a modest, milky-white cap and soapy film of lacing. The smell offers tangerine, pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, and malty sweetness. Its flavor reflects the amazing bill of Citra Incognito, Citra pellets, and Citra Cryo hops: a heavy dose of orange/tangerine, along with tart lemon and grapefruit, and a touch of melon. The sweet and sour fruit blend well. There is a strong, malty backbone and a hint of Magnify's yeast burn at the finish. The hops provide a smooth bitterness. As expected, the mouth feel is thick and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and I could feel the 10.5% ABV; it's a potent brew. Overall, Melting Point is another excellent TIPA from Magnify, which excels at brewing this style of IPA.

One of the best high hazy ipas I’ve ever had. 10.5 Abv is completely hidden. Extremely smooth. Well done
