Pours a peach flesh orange with a turbid transparency. Head is two fingers of off-white/biege foam. Aroma is grapefruit, papaya, tangerine, grass, and light medicinal hops. Nutty malts come thru underneath, adding a little firmness underneath the hops. Flavor profile is grapefruit, tangerine, mango, and faint medicinal and earthy hops at the end. It opens with a blossom of tropical fruit sweetness, before turning towards earthy and medicinal hop notes. The end also brings forth nutty and light doughy malts. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a soft, delicate effervescence. Overall, it pushes out a myriad of hop notes without hop burn or bitterness, all the while, creating a complex network of notes. It's easy drinking too, despite being on the higher side of the ABV spectrum.

Reviewed 5 days after canning. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours a dense, opaque, dirty tangerine color with a large, foamy, bright white head and very thick lacing. A nice, fruity aroma of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, tangerine, and onion. Magnify nailed this batch. It offers a great balance of sweet and tart citrus and bitter, biting hops. Citra and Mosaic is a tried and true hop combo and it works great here while the Apollo hop oil provides lots of resinous pine and bitterness. The mouthfeel is vintage Magnify - thick and creamy with appropriate carbonation and a punchy 9% ABV. Overall, Drill Deeper is a great DIPA version of Peak Oil. I would drink this any day.
