Infinite Universe is a new 12% Quadruple IPA. We took our all Galaxy Imperial IPA, Edge of the Universe, and amped it up to 12%. It’s hopped almost entirely with Galaxy and just a touch of El Dorado. This Quad IPA drinks insanely smooth and has no hint of the ABV. You’ve been warned.

a: super hazy dark yellow/burnt copper color. a hint of vibrant creamy orange as well. solid tan head pours 2 fingers, but fades quickly. not surprising for the abv
s: grapefruit, papaya, passionfruit, sweet peaches. lemon, sweet strawberries, and a big crackery note. tangerines, sweet orange juice, and candied mango. there is a touch of a harsh alcohol note in here as well - it isn't detracting though
t: grapefruit, tea leaf, and a sharp alcohol tinge on the tongue upfront. orange juice, peach cobbler, and sticky sugary sweetness. some more grapefruit bitterness at the end - there is a noticeable amount of bitterness in this, which is nice. a little bit of caramel and sweet lemon at the end
m: heavy mouthfeel, slightly sticky. moderate carbonation
o: absolutely huge beer here. there is a noticeable alcohol presence in here, but it's balanced by the tropical hops and a slight bitterness. whilst being a big beer it is quite easy to drink so be warned :)

Canned on 11/3/2020. Poured into a Magnify tulip glass. It pours a turbid, dark orange with a large, fluffy, bright-white head and lacing. It's a classic NEIPA appearance. The aromatic smell includes lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and passion fruit. The taste is bright and fruity with lots of tangerine and passion fruit, along with lemon and grapefruit. The Galaxy hops really shine in the fruit and in the bitterness at the finish. For such a big ale the flavors are surprisingly delicate. There is a touch of astringency at the finish which I suspect will dissipate as the ale ages in the can. It should be perfect at 2-3 weeks. The mouth feel is phenomenal! It's thick - almost chewy - with a pleasant level of carbonation, and it doesn't drink like 12% ABV. I really had to pace myself to keep from drinking it too quickly. Overall, in my opinion this is Magnify's best QIPA yet. Just a great beer!
