I’ve never had the peach melba desert dish. I hardly even remembered it existed until I saw this beer sitting on the shelf. It seems like this could be the kind of dessert that translates well into a kettle sour, given the peach and raspberry will likely work well to balance the sweetness of the graham cracker and marshmallow. This is also my first beer from Magnify, a brewery I hadn’t heard of before I found this one. Let’s dig in
Pours an opaque orangey pink with 3 fingers of light pink head that slowly fades to a thin ring and leaves minimal lacing
There's something oddly medicinal about the nose on this one, I think that's just the combination of fruit used. I'm picking up on aromas of raspberry candy, peach syrup, toasted pecan, bready malt, graham cracker, vanilla, and a touch of cinnamon
In taste, this is much more sour than the aroma had led me to believe. On the front end of the sip I'm tasting tart raspberry, lemon, orange juice, graham cracker, marshmallow, and vanilla creme. The swallow brings notes of juicy peach, tart raspberry, dehydrated strawberry, graham cracker, vanilla creme, light toast, and smooth caramel
A light medium body pairs with moderately high carbonation, resulting in a very crisp beer that only evokes dessert-y textures in the aftertaste. Finishes semi dry with an increasing sweetness that never gets to be overbearing
This one started off a bit odd, but got better as I moved through the experience. It was quite good, a nice dessert inspired kettle sour as a treat

Color is 100% the color of grapefruit. What stood out to me was a denser and more lively head than I normally see with fruited sours. Aroma is sweet with the ingredients (peach, raspberry, graham cracker, marshmallow) all detectible. It's not over the top, which I mean as a complement. Let's hope the taste continues in the vein.
Taste is sweet, and does in fact largely follow what the nose foretold. What I like about it is that it still maintains some balance. No element of it is overdone. Sweet, but with some sour lurking. It all works well together. Very good beer for a beautiful summer day.

Reviewed less than a week after canning. Poured from 16 oz. can into a Magnify stemless glass. It pours a cloudy - nearly opaque - muddy magenta color with orange hues, and almost a finger of creamy head and lacing that is eggshell-colored with a slightly pinkish hue. For a sour that is supposed to evoke "peach melba," the smell is accurate with ripe peach, vanilla cream, and sour, fruity notes. I'm always skeptical of a kettle sour that emulates a dessert but this on is true to form. The initial taste is dominated by tart peach and sweet lactose/vanilla. There are also hints of other sour fruit and the lactobacillus is strong but not overly distracting. The "other fruit" is strawberry which really emerges as it warms in the glass. The sweetness and sourness nicely compliment each other. It's really quite tasty. Magnify releases a lot of kettle sours and has masted the mouth feel. It's nice rich and creamy for 8% ABV. Overall, Peach Melba Pie Attack is flavorful and easily drinkable. It makes a nice change of pace particularly on a hot, humid day.
