Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Slight murky and turbid looking dull dark peach yellow, with no visible signs of life to it. Still, a nice soapy and large forming head of an easy four fingers, with lots of pill anr ring lacing and clumpy soapy bubbles.
Aroma is big large and boozy. Large amounts of sweet booze, coupled with a fruity peach like hop note. Hits with some brandy like qualities which is a bit unexpected but then.. Perhaps not.
Palate hits with a surprising much more muted and tolerable experience. Soft bodied, with rich malt and hop balance. Booze accented sweet malt with a hop angle that's a mix more tropical and citrus. Flirts with vodka punch like flavors on the finish, and a spicy tone that surprisingly doesn't get too fussel or gasoline like in taste either.
For a big abv this is pretty controlled somewhat, but overshines much of the hop character.
