a: silky jet black color with a 1/2 finger nitro looking dark tan head
s: lots of roasted malt and lactose upfront. bitter chocolate and caramel. cola and a touch of wood
t: a nice roast and smooth caramel note to kick this off. a touch of bitterness from the roast and dark chocolate. some nice woody notes, then you get a nice little bit of lactose sweetness - just the right amount.
m: medium mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. a touch sticky
o: this is a really nice milk stout. it's not too sweet, and the lactose adds to this, doesn't dominate. it's smooth and roasty. really nice
