Special TIPA for Magnify's 7th anniversary. Reviewed 5 days after canning. Poured into a tulip glass. It pours an opaque orange-apricot color with a finger of creamy, eggnog-colored head and thick, clinging lacing. The nose is fruity and fragrant with lots of lemon, pineapple, melon, onion, bubblegum, and a bready malt base. Its taste is big and bold with tart lemon and grapefruit balanced against melon, sweeter citrus, and stone fruit. The Mosaic and Galaxy hops provide a lot of different flavors. As expected, the strong use of Strata contributes lots of grassy, herbal cannabis notes while the Sabro adds an earthy, cedar flavor. It's super dank. If you like these hops you'll really like this ale! The mouthfeel is surprisingly lite and crisp for the 10% ABV; it's extremely drinkable for the high gravity. Overall, the rating on this TIPA will vary based on whether the reviewer likes Strata and Sabro hops. They are used very well in 7. It's a fitting release for the 7th anniversary of one of my favorite breweries.
