This Imperial Stout is fermented with Italian red wine yeast for notes of red wine and dark fruit. We aged it in red wine and bourbon barrels for one year before double barrel aging it in Brunello puncheons for an additional year.

6 oz mini-snifter pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma and flavor feature dark roasted malts, bourbon, vanilla, red wine tannins, dark fruit, coffee, and dark chocolate. Fairly sweet but not cloying. It's a big, complex beer, definitely one to sip and savor.
