Triple IPA brewed in collaboration with Equilibrium. This Triple IPA is brewed with a big dose of Citra Incognito in the whirlpool for extra hop density. We then double dry hopped with Simcoe, Strata, Galaxy, Simcoe Cryo.

Reviewed 4 days after release. 14 oz. pour at the brewery. It pours a dirty, opaque tangerine color with more than a finger of creamy, eggshell-colored cap and thick, long-lasting lacing. For a draught pour it's very attractive. A fruity, aromatic nose featuring lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, melon, vanilla, and soft floral hops. The taste opens with a blast of sweet, ripe peach, along with pineapple, tart lemon and grapefruit, and sweet, creamy vanilla. The Simcoe hops provide clean, modest bitterness throughout. The flavors are very well-balanced. This ale has a luxuriously thick and creamy mouth feel with appropriate carbonation, and it drinks well below its 10% ABV. Overall, Brain Child is outstanding! Many collaborations are disappointments but in this TIPA you can taste the influence of two excellent brewers.
