Poured from 16 oz. can into a Magnify stemless glass. It pours a muddy tangerine color with a full finger of creamy, milk-white head and thick sheen of lacing. An elegant pour. The nose offers grapefruit, melon, and a hint of onion and white wine grape. The taste opens with soft, sweet fruit, including peach and melon, balanced against tart lemon and grapefruit. The Citra and Riwaka hops work well together. There is also sweetness from the firm malt base - an almost oaty flavor. You can easily taste the Nelson hops in the background although it's delicate. As expected, the mouth feel is plush and creamy with appropriate carbonation, and while the 8% ABV gives it good substance, it's highly drinkable. Overall, Greetings from Medford is a fine recipe, well-executed. Its taste is both sophisticated and understated. It's a fitting tribute to Magnify's new venture in South Jersey. I highly recommend it.
