This massive Imperial Stout had an extended boil for a thick, viscous body. We then conditioned on edible cookie dough and brownies. Thick, sweet, delicious.

Sometimes you need a big ass Imperial Stout with weird adjuncts to finish off the night. I don’t think I’ve ever seen cookie dough used in beer before, but I imagine it’ll be hard for that flavor to actually come through. Let’s pop it open and find out
Pours a very dark brown with a finger of creamy light tan head that quickly fades to a thin ring and leaves no lacing
The nose is quite sweet but not overly so. I’m picking up on aromas of burnt caramel, chocolate fudge, vanilla icing, medium roast coffee, molasses, brown sugar, and light cherry
It’s somehow even less sweet in taste, what a welcome surprise. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting chocolate fudge, toasted pecan, cookie dough, medium roast coffee, burnt toast, caramel candy, vanilla bean, molasses, and light brown sugar. The swallow brings notes of burnt caramel, chocolate brownies, spent coffee beans, cookie dough, burnt toast, black cherry, molasses, and light vanilla bean
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a smooth and creamy beer. Finishes a tad sticky but dries out rather quickly
What a strange beer. I’m genuinely shocked that it’s not incredibly sweet. Weird but worth a try
