Pours a slightly hazy straw with a tight, white cream head, quite a bit of lacing. The aroma is lightly tart with smooth wheat and a floral/bready character. The flavor follows suit. There is a sort of pils malt character with a tart spike at the end. Light carbonation, a quenching body and a lingering dry/tart finish. This is a tasty, solidly made saison. Although if it is all-wheat I don't know why it wouldn't be a grisette. Maybe I'm missing something.
It is drinkable and the tart zip hits that sweet spot where it is an accent but never far from the center action. However it is not primarily a tart beer. Would have this one again.
