Appearance: Arrives with a very dark hue; the head is tan and about an inch high; a few streaks of lacing hang around as the beer is consumed
Smell: Roasty, with pecan and chocolate tones; a hint of caramel
Taste: Caramel and chocolate forward, with a burst of pecan flavor in the middle; the finish is balanced and somewhat dry
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: I have had a few other pecan beers but the brightness of the pecan flavor in this one is distinctive
