The appearance was a hazy burnt brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer. The smell had a fairly nice sweet to spicy blend of chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger. The taste took those flavors and added a light coriander to it. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a good abbey ale sessionability about it. Overall, I say this was a pretty good Belgian ale that I could do again.
