My first taste of the Big Ax was their wheat beer. Won me over with the first 10oz glass...bought a growler.
It's not the best I have had, but can run in the middle of the pack. It's a nice light and refreshing beer with a slight but tolerable bitterness and citrus at the beginning. Finishes leaving you wanting more.

Brilliant clarity, especially for an unfiltered wheat beer. Thin white head dissipates quickly.
Great American hop aroma for the style. Slight grainy malt aroma.
Well balanced flavor. Light and easy-drinking. Pils and wheat in the forefront with some bitterness and citrus hop flavor.
Light bodied, slight drying in the finish.
Overall, a perfect summer wheat beer. Drinkable and refreshing with surprising hop aroma and flavor.
