Beautiful red-amber color with excellent clarity. Thick mousse off-white head that lingers around the edges of the glass.
Resinous and citrus American hop aroma with some sweet caramel malt notes.
Well-balanced flavor with signifiant complexity. Resinous hop supported by caramel malt backbone. Fairly significant bitterness that persists into the finish.
Substantial body with moderate carbonation. Slightly astringent finish.
A nice beer. More along the lines of Red IPA than Amber. I certainly pay for a pint of this one.
