Jet black with a bit of tan edge foam. Flat without visible carbo. Aroma is boozy with wooden barrel notes and molassas. Taste follows aroma with char, rich malts, a suggestion of cherry, chocolate, bourbon, mulled dark fruits. The feel is silky smooth with a heavy bodied feel and a long drying finish.
It is outstanding in its style.
