Appearance: Pours coffee colored with a thick one finger tan head; nice retention and a few shards of lace
Smell: Chocolate, chalk and coffee, with just a hint of Brandy
Taste: Chocolate and coffee forward, with some chalk and vanilla tones; the Brandy arrives in the middle, but is not particularly distinct; moderately sweet finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; somewhat creamy
Overall: Drinks nicely, but for a Brandy barrel aged beer I was expecting something more
