750ml bottle, gold wax over cap. Social media has this released in December of 2025.
Black colored body. Mocha brown colored head with the pour, and this quickly becomes an active surface storm and thin ring. No lacing.
Aroma of roasted chocolate malts, vapors of bourbon barrel and oak, cinnamon spice, and hints of vegetal chile peppers.
Taste is sweet and strong. Flavors of chocolate; bourbon barrel, oak, and vanilla; cinnamon spice; and dried chile pepper plant material. Hint of warmth. Lots of chocolate and cinnamon continue in the aftertaste.
More than medium mouthfeel. Smooth, with a bit of syrup. Higher ABV% is felt in the nose from the vapors; the peppers add a little bit more warmth but no burn. Good carbonation.
Good example of a Mexican Imperial Stout but one must at least tolerate cinnamon in order to enjoy.
