These guys are getting some decent distribution bc their stuff is now at a gas station in Fallon, NV. Pours a hazy yellow, small 1/3" white head on the top. Some candied fruit tropical impressions in the aroma. Papaya, mango, cantelope kind of feels in the nose.

There is more of the lightly sweetened tropical and citrus fruit feels in the taste, although everything here is done a little lighter than average. Still good. Really smacks more of a pale ale than an ipa. The body was light, the hopping was adequate but light, the carbonation was light. Its a pretty mild beer with some sweeter fruit notes. Good beer, decent price but it won't blow anyone out of the water in California. People would prolly lose their shit if this came out of rural North Dakota though.

Had this earlier in the night at NOVO Brazil, giving a taster a 4.00. Picked up a can later in the night at Bottlecraft Little Italy after sampling some of their beers on for their seventh anniversary. Can description was, “Pool Party is a Haze IPA made with citra hop, mosaic, and a mild hoppy taste. An extremely refreshing summer receipt with remarkable scent and flavor.”

Poured a hazy pale color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy-to-rocky white head. Some slow moving bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding uneven foamy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled a big whiff of Citra up front, coming across like Fruit Loops. Also lime, lemon, floral, passion fruit, tangerine, mixed berry, Mosaic, grapefruit and pineapple. More passion fruit, Mosaic and Citra from the can with a little guava as well. (Smell - 4.25)

Taste was not quite as good as I remember it, but still very drinkable. Got Citra, passion fruit, Fruit Loops, lime, grapefruit, pineapple, light Mosaic, floral, tangerine and viney berry. (Taste - 3.75)

Light body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.75)

Overall this was an outstanding hazy pale ale. Could drink this all day. (Overall - 4.00)

Sort of like a session hazy - and like a lot of sessions, it registers light in pretty much all aspects. Aroma and flavor had citrus peel and some stonefruits, but not bright or full. Feel is very light, low carbonation.

It's easy drinking, which is obviously what they were shooting for, but it just seems watered down for it's style and not something to actively seek out.

Drinkable for sure. At only 5.5%, you dont get the warm feelong from some normal DIPA's at 8%. Still citrusy but slightly bitter on the back end. Good hop bite and crisp.
