Preston "P-Stone" Maigetter was a 110% skateboarder, family man and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He traveled the world, documenting skateboarding and clocking more miles than just about anybody out there. He was always positive and fed the crew with the finest BBQ. P-Stone was unexpectedly and tragically taken from us on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017. We here at Lay Back are proud to produce this Pale Ale in P-Stone's honor. Proceeds from the sales will go to his wife and kids to help make things a little easier for them. Preston's spirit will always be in our hearts, so go out and get some clean rips, heavy sips and keep the revs high for P-Stone!

Generally a fan on Novo Brazil and picked this up after seeing it stores for the first time. Looks like they made this beer for Preston "P-Stone" Maigetter with all the proceeds going to his family. Didn’t know anything else about it going in.

Poured a light amber color (gold-to-amber) with three fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. World-class foamy spiderweb lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smelled pine, Cascade, floral, dish soap, caramel malt, pineapple, spoiled peach and iced tea. Pretty much the same from the can. (Smell - 3.75)

Taste followed the nose for the most part, maybe more bitter. Got bitter dish soap, woody pine forest, Cascade, pineapple, spoiled peach, iced tea, grapefruit peel, citrus zest and lingering peppery spice. (Taste - 3.50)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Bitter, spicy finish. (Feel - 3.75)

A very good pale ale overall. (Overall - 3.75)
