Headed over to Windmill Farms to look for some new North Park ones. Was out of luck there but did come away with eight other cans. Not a lot from the Untappd description (Double Dry-Hopped Pale Ale).
Poured a medium yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see a lot of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent layered foamy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled lemon, pine, earthy malt, Citra, tangerine, grapefruit, grain and wet grass. No mention of hops but I think Citra, Cascade and maybe Columbus. Definitely a West Coast Pale Ale. Not as good from the can with the addition of caramel. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose. Got caramel, pine, earthy malt, lemon, tangerine, earthy grain and toffee. (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, leathery finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Pretty good overall for a West Coast Pale Ale. I’d have it again for sure. (Overall - 3.75)
