THey describe this as a "hoppy Saison" and listed ABV at 6.8%. On tap at the brewery restaurant on El Cajon. Hazy amber yellowish brew with a modest foam in the tall tulip. Intriguing aroma of honeydew and fermenting pineapple. Makes me think of Melon and Motueka hops.
Taste is white grapes with a bitter finish, kind of a seeds and stems astringency. Kind of gummy and raspy. almost winey. Lots of the wheaty, malty Saison taste. Not what you'd call smooth, but an interesting knockabout brew.
