Had on tap at MH tasting room after recommendation from behind the bar. First timer for me having a coffee iPA..and was definitely unsure going in. Very pleasantly surprised with the roasty, hoppy blend that worke so well. Medium body with lots of character and complexity. The noes and the taste just leaped out...mostly from the coffee. This is worth adding a comment. The coffee used was extraordinarily good. Orinoco Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee and the roast... whoever did the local roasting did a great job. This was probably the best coffee flavor I have had.

Had a 4.5 sampler at Manor Hill Brewery. Skeptic of dark and/or coffee IPA because they tend to come off ashy. Real strong coffee aroma on this dark pour with off white head with strong lacing. Tasty but there is still some ash. Really fresh coffee flavor but not quite sweet enough to balance. Good, not great. If you like the style you should enjoy.

Dry and massive amounts of coffee. Fantastic Porter.
