This is quite aptly named. Looks like a New England style - unfiltered guava juice. Nose seems to promise more of a Saison/wild yeast/funky flavor. Taste is closer to a Belgian IPA - very much of a Belgian yeast taste, but aggressive grassy hopping at the end. A few fun subtle flavors as the taste closes out - orange rind, coriander and a bit of black pepper.
If you are jonesing for a more traditional style of IPA, probably not your bag. However for something different with an eclectic make-up grab one of these and give it a try. Bizarre indeed - but tasty.
