"The base beer for our collaboration with Pizza Boy (Enola, PA), is an Imperial Brown Ale. For kicks, we unleashed our resident spice wizard (Millhouse) to add his mojo to transform this beauty into a Birch Beer Brown. It pours a deep black crowned by a tan head. Various roots, barks and magic lend aromas and flavors of birch, sarsaparilla, licorice, sassafras and ginger to a very well-balanced brown ale."
It's basically am amped-up brown ale that tastes quite a bit like root beer. Pretty weird but not terrible.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
