This Cold Brew Coffee Stout collab with Olde Mother Brewing in Frederick has some added edginess brought on by Dublin Coffee’s medium roast Costa Rican blend. It pours jet black with a frothy cappuccino colored foam. Strong aromas of black coffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of caramel highlight this full bodied and sneaky strong (9%) beer

Totally black body with a large tan head and good lacing. Coffee stands out amid the roasted malts in the aroma. Some chocolate backs in after a few whiffs. Earthy, moderately bitter charred taste thanks to the coffee. Notes of caramel and dark fruit add depth to the roasted malts. Strength of the alcohol is a late show but then adds punch. Full bodied, lightly carbonated mouthfeel. A fine, well made IS (if you like coffee in your stout)
