Great beer - reminiscent of goose island bourbon county! Poured on tap at the brewery, color is a dark brown, aroma is sweet and inviting, taste is full with a healthy dose of vanilla balanced by bourbon!

On draft at Rustico in Alexandria, VA.

Dark brown body with a small beige collar. Aromas of oak, booze, vanilla, roast. Tannic with aggressive oak character throughout. Whiskey and oak, followed by vanilla. Pretty good.

L: deep brown/black, zero head with skimming brown lace.
N: really nice roasted malts, chocolate and cocoa malts, vanilla beans, bourbon/burnt sugars/creme brule richness, really really wonderful nose on this one.
T: matches the nose- a really nice blend of flavors, chocolate and cocoa, roasted malts, touch ashy, vanilla, smooth as hell bourbon notes make this a wonderful blend.
B: medium bodied, low carbonation, touch oily.
Overall: what a surprise this is, really nice. The nose is up there with the best of any BA imperial stouts I've had. So solid.

A dark chocolate black. Creamy head. Looks good and competes with some of the regional breweries.

Strong vanilla notes. Moderate wood notes.sweet dark chocolate but faint. Slight alcohol note but barely noticeable. Light roast.

Stronger dark chocolate. Weak roast. Strong but not as strong vanilla. Noticeable wood note. Tiny booze note.

Heavy body. Very little carbonation but enough to give it more than being syrupy. Slightly syrupy but mostly smooth.

Very good. Go for it. Delicious stout with no booze note.
