On draft at the brewery, in nonic pint glass
Clear deep mahogany brown color, thin cream colored head. Rich malt aroma - dark caramel, rum , mollasses. Taste is slightly sweet a little boozy as it warms. Medium bodied, mouthfeel is a little slick.

It has a deep clear brown body with a little red tint. It initially has a half finger of creamy tan head that quickly burns off. Somehow it still leaves sporadic spots of soapy lacing. The aroma is a little mild but has a deep roasted grain robustness with a hint of sweetness. The taste is much the same but a little more assertive. The body is mostly smooth and full with just a hint of carbonation.
