Pretty good American Pale Ale. The back story for this beer has friends and family in Northern Virginia planting Cascade hops and using them for this wet hopped beer. The version I had was 5.8% vice the 5.5% from previous reviewers. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer featured a light, fizzy off-white head and a light copper/orange colored body. The head is fast-fading and there is no lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste include caramel malt and mild hops bitterness. Not a whole lot of complexity here. The beer is slightly sweet, with a little bitterness. Rich enough for the style and goes down very smooth. A good beer, I would drink this one again.
