Poured gently from a tall can into a snifter glass, forming maybe a finger of frothy white head that quickly faded. Plain gold color, totally transparent. Smell is not what I expected, very barley heavy. Taste is similar to the smell, with barley being the primary taste, and the hint of pumpkin at the end only coming as it warms. Light bodied with light carbonation. Not what I was expecting for pumpkin, and not sure if it's similar to cream ales. Not a good pumpkin ale.
