Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass.

Appearance: Pours a big, fluffy, light brown head. Body is deep brown and opaque but short of jet black.

Smell: The unusual aroma of rum barrel hits, along with a kind of hazelnut coffee smell. Little bit of vanilla complementing the rum.

Taste: Smooth. Taste follows the nose, with light roast coffee and rum barrel being the lead flavors, not very intense but pleasant. Only a bit of chocolate.

Feel: Light-to-moderate body and lightly carbonated. The rum coats the back of the palate.

Overall: Probably won't be a go-to, but the experiment worked pretty well and is worth a try.
