12oz pour into a goblet at the brewery Friday evening.
Ugliest looking saison I've ever seen. a solid apricot colored body with a small white head which dissipates to a ring. no lacing.
However, there is a nice gingery aroma to this one.
The base taste of a saison is certainly there, and I love ginger, so appreciate the "kick" that brings to the drink. Taste comes together very nicely for this palate.
Mouth is above medium, finish is tangy and ginger.
Overall, aside from the look, this is a nice take on a saison. If you like ginger that is. If you don't, might want to look at their other offerings.

Fantastic! Best Saison I've had since Ommegang Hennepin.
