I like when micro-gastropubs take their menus seriously and contribute to both crafts. Bounce House and Company Brewing seem to do that. Six years in, they survived a pandemic and still function to community gatherings such as Trivia Night and music and, of course, thoughtful food. And do all that in a pretty competitive urban brew scene.
I wish I could like Bounce House as much as I think I like Company. This brew's only major flaw is that I'm not much of a Citra fan. Maybe the brewer is trying to bridge the fandom gap between IPAs and wit (but doesn't.) Maybe Bounce House thinks that it can be a hybrid by being very dry in a style with a sweet after-taste (not convincing.) Probably best not to call this wit as the brewer did and BA, rightly, did not.
I want to try more from Company; but I'm assuming their Tripel and Dubbel are more traditional Belgians.
9/10/21 Had the second can and made no changes in rating or review. I am however going to order more from Company via Beer Drop.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
