On-tap at the source itself and listed at 4.5% ABV. On to the beer:

Half an inch of tanned head marks a fair start. Solid head retention on top this black bodied beer. The aroma is on the mark, bringing lactose, roasty malt, and anise to the nose. Rocko's doesn't have much of a sweet flavor, seemingly focusing more on the roasty malt. There is a semi-sweet chocolate note which makes a mark. Banana leaves an impression. While hitting 4.5% alcohol, the beer has a medium body and a full flavor. I think this will work out between us.

My buddy called and said he just opened a growler and wanted me to partake. He poured the beer and it was black as midnight, but good.
Not being experts on beer, except for the fact that we like it, we noted that there wasn't a lot of carbonation. We thought that was typical of darker beers.

Finished the growler and both agreed we liked it and would drink it again.
