*From notes*
The beer pours a very nice foamy, white head. The beer itself is a nice looking clear medium gold beer that is appealing.
The smell and taste has a strong bitter hop note to it. The hop note consists of a dry hopped pine note and a nice, juicy resin note that dominates both the smell and the taste. However, the resin note comes out on top more so than the other one. There seems to be a subtle caramel malt backbone but it gets pretty lost in the hop notes.
The feel is good. It's a heavy bodied beer with biting carbonation that makes it feel a bit lighter than it would normally be.
Overall, a pretty good and drinkable DIPA.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a snifter, the beer is a bright, caramel copper coloring with a steady flow of carbonation into a tall, fluffy, off-white head. Nose of wet grass and pine tassels, tart grapefruit and pineapple, tangerine, and highlights of candi sugar. Flavors are very tart and sweet citrus forward, with grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon zest, as well as some tropical fruit highlights. Subtle caramel backbone blends with more heavy hops resin and piney notes. Smooth, robust, oily bodied, with a bitter, resinous, sticky aftertaste. The finish is slick and oily, but with a dry, roasted linger. Very good beer.

Pours a light golden/orange color on tap @ Spencer Devon Brewing. Head had pretty much fallen by the time it had reached the table. Aroma of Down Under hops.. fruit, fruit, and more fruit, tropical fruit, citrus (orange/lemon/lime) and light malt, . Flavor follows the aroma but without the bitterness you would expect from a DIPA. Seemed to gain its strength from the possibility of sugar addition rather than malt. The flavors are really good here, but could definitely use some improvement in getting it up to style. More like a strong ABV single IPA if that makes sense. The feel is med-light with proper carbonation. This new brewery has potential, but I feel like costs were cut in the making of this beer that hurt the quality of the product. Most of the other offerings I had tonight were lower ABV beers that hit their perspective styles a little better. I'll check these guys out again after they have a little time to grow. Interested to try the "Orange Cream Ale" that was aging in the barrel next to my table. The recipe sheet attached included Lactobacillus.. So I am assuming a sour orange cream ale may be in store...sounds interesting. I'll be back.
