No date (but definitely fresh)
A:
Pours a clearish brass with two fingers of effervescent white head that clumsily drops to a chunky film; thick lacing, decent retention. (4)
S:
Bright citrus with some caramel malt a light tartness. Orange-lemon, must, green grapes, caramel, woody brett twang/earthiness. (4)
T:
An interesting blend of flavors. Dry hoppiness with some citrus and Brett funk, the wine/barrel comes through a little as well. (4)
M:
Light plus body with medium carbonation, super dry, quick/clean finish. (4)
O:
Nice PA.
Bright brass color with a fluffy head. The aroma has a nice malty sweetness to back up citrus hops and the brightness of the wine barrel. The flavor is similar with a little more Brett funk and a touch of sulphur. It is drinkable and tasty.
I'd have it again. (3.75)
